The Grand Challenger is a multi-leaderboard game mode, where players can opt-in to both short leaderboards (Mini Challenges) and a bigger leaderboard (Mega Challenger) at the same time.
Grand Challenger consists of 2 leaderboards - Mini & Mega Challenger.
Mini Challenger- These are short leaderboards that run for a few hours in a day.
Mega Challenger - This is a bigger leaderboard that is active for the entire day. Your Mega Challenger score will be a sum of all your scores in the Mini Challengers.
When should I play games to score points on a Mini Challenger?
Only cash games played within the specified start and end times of a challenge duration will count towards scoring for that particular challenge.
The game format is outlined on each Grand Challenger
details card. For instance, in the example below, points
will only be scored on the challenge if you participate in
Points Rummy games. The applicable game variant may vary for
each challenge. Please review the details before opting-in.

No, opting-in to a challenge is free. A 3-4% winning fee will be levied on every cash game won. No fee will be charged on games lost.
You can either play cash games in Points, Pool or Deals variant to score points on Mini Challenger.

If you win a 2-Seat Points variant cash game with an Entry Fee of ₹80, your Points Scored will be 80 Points.

The sum of your points in Mini Challengers will make up your overall score on the Mega Challenger.

Participation in both Mini and Mega Challenges requires opting into the Grand Challenger.
Opting in and out of a Grand Challenger is voluntary and can be done at any time.
Grand Challenger is made up of multiple Mini Challenger leaderboards and a bigger Mega Challenger Leaderboard.
Scoring and ranking consider only cash games played in point, pool, and deals formats.
Only cash games played within Mini Challenger time slots count towards scoring.
Adherence to specific game variants, entry fee, and player count parameters is mandatory for scoring.
Scoring stops on opting out of the challenge.
Opting out mid-game or opting in after a game has started does not contribute to scoring, regardless of the outcome.
Each Mini Challenger has a multiplier value applied to winning scores, which may vary.
Your challenger score determines your rank.
Prize distribution for all Mini Challengers within a Mega Challenger is the same.
The Mega Challenger score is the sum of your scores from all Mini Challengers.
The prize distribution structure for Mega Challenger varies and follows the same format as the Mini Challenges of that Grand Challenger.
In case of tied scores, priority is given to the player who opted in first.
Prize distribution occurs after the completion of a Mini or Mega Challenger; check challenge details for the schedule.
Prizes won in Mini and Mega Challenger are disbursed within 15 minutes of leaderboard completion.
Commission deduction applies only when opted into the Grand Challenger and ceases upon opting out.
Commission applies solely to games won, deducted from net game winnings after standard cash game commissions.
No commission is charged on games lost.
Commission rates (2-4%) may vary by Challenge; please review before opting in.
Opting out mid-game or opting in late exempts the game from commission deduction, regardless of the outcome.
All standard Rummy.com terms and conditions are applicable.
The decision of the Rummy.com management shall be final and binding in case of any dispute.
Only games with an entry fee above ₹7 count towards the Mega & Mini Leaderboards in Rummy Challenger.
